If there’s one thing that’s more prestigious than owning your own Bentley, it’s customizing it to set it apart from all others. Owners have come up with some truly unique ways to deck out their Bentley luxury cars, whether those aftermarket details are done for trendy current models like the Bentley Continental GT V8, or classics such as the Bentley Arnage.
Decked-Out Bentley Luxury Cars
Chances are, you probably don’t need an all-over paint job for your Bentley — or you wouldn’t have chosen the model’s color in the first place. But there are still plenty of ways to add bling to the exterior. One of the most interesting ways is by texturizing the exterior with a vinyl wrap. Go for a clear “snakeskin” patterned vinyl for an effect in which the Bentley still looks classic from several yards away, yet becomes even more of a knock-out up close.
Need more decked-out accents? Racing liveries and Bentley luxury cars just seem to go together. New techniques from specialized studios allow you to apply wraps, stripes, flags, and decals to your heart’s desire. Go with Bentley Motorsport’s latest official livery, or just add some cool stripes for jolts of color — it’s all up to you.
Not into the decal look? There’s one other way to add pops of color — and some definite cool points — to your decked-out Bentley. Replace the standard rims with colored alloy wheels. Red rims will liven up a seemingly staid gray Bentayga Mulliner, while teal adds even more bling to a yellow GT Speed Convertible. The color combinations are endless.
Upgrading standard upholstery is one obvious way to customize a Bentley. For a two-tone effect, choose a hue that really pops against the exterior and/or interior paint, as in a cherry-bomb red leather interior to show off a gleaming white exterior.
Color isn’t the only way in which upholstery provides some major Bentley pimping. Whether your taste runs to exotic leather, plush velvet or vintage vinyl, the material you use to cover the seating can be both ultra-luxe and idiosyncratic at the same time. And don’t forget the ceiling! Some of the most luxurious motorcars feature exquisite fabric ceilings, such as Asian-style floral silk prints — or simply more of the same luxurious fabric that covers the seating.
As a final note, finishing options can really set off your decked-out upholstery. Along with specifying color and fabric, you can add aftermarket flair by embroidering your initials throughout or giving a quilted effect with a diamond pattern. Finally, keep in mind that stitching in a contrasting color adds a dramatic touch.
Additional Interior Upgrades
Wood lends instant richness to a variety of Bentley interiors. Dark teak sets off jewel-hued seats and panels, while light birch lends additional brightness to light-colored upholstery. Wood flooring is the ultimate in decking (literally). But if cost prohibits that level of an upgrade, consider that any wooden accent, from a dashboard insert to other elements of trim, still make a major impact.
Interiors can also be painted. From an all-over remodel of your Bentley’s interior colors, to accents like the steering wheel and side panels, specialty paint can do much to set your Grand Tour or Speed Six apart from all others.
The most noticeable way to deck out a Bentley’s interior, of course, is to add luxurious conveniences not normally seen in cars. Look for modifications like pop-out footrests or Champagne coolers (with special compartments for flute glasses, of course!). There are countless ways that Bentley luxury cars can be made even more comfortable than they already are. For example, all passenger seating can even be equipped with individual television screens, along with swing-out tables and charging stations for laptops and phones.
Custom Body Kits
Aftermarket body “kits,” customized to specific makes and models, represent another way to add all-over drama to your Bentley exterior. Vorsteiner makes a range of kits, including its six-piece Bentley Continental GT BR-10.
The basic package comes with side skirts, rear diffuser, front lip and rear boot spoiler as major pieces, along with optional floor mats and forged aluminum monoblock wheels.
